Examples include the chest, backs of the hands, shoulders and arms. As a body product, it contains different ingredients than the repair creams for the face. In addition, it contains 2.5% Pro-Niacin™, a lower dosage of the active ingredient to accommodate more compromised areas with a thinner barrier. When you have a compromised skin barrier, penetration of Pro-Niacin™ is enhanced, which can result vasodilation and flushing effects.
Will the 2.5% Pro-Niacin™ in the Sun Damage Repair for Décolletage and Hands produce similar results to the 5% Pro-Niacin™ in the Skin Strengthening Complex and Intensive Recovery Complex?
Yes. The benefits of the Pro-Niacin™ molecule remain the same. However, at a lower percentage, the visible effects of the molecule on sun damage and hyperpigmentation will occur at a slightly slower rate. If faster results are desired, once your skin has become acclimated to the 2.5%, you may substitute the Skin Strengthening Complex, Intensive Recovery Complex or Sun Damage Prevention 100% Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 to these areas.
